Svanekegaarden Cello Master Class 2023

We are looking forward to welcome talented cellists age 14-30 at the 5th Svanekegaarden Cello Master Class 2023!

Location:       Svanekegaarden, Skippergade 2-8, 3740 Svaneke

Date:             13.-19. August 2023

Teachers:       Jakob Kullberg (Professor, Royal College of Music, London) and Toke Møldrup (Associate Professor, Royal Danish Academy of Music, Copenhagen) –

Course pianist and cello/piano coach: Kristoffer Hyldig, concert pianist

 

Preliminary program:

Sunday 5.00 pm: Arrival

Monday

8 am-9.30 am: Run team, karate & yoga

10 am – 4 pm: Masterclass Jakob Kullberg and Toke Møldrup

Tuesday

8 am-9.30 am: Run team, karate, yoga & swimming

10 am – 4 pm: Masterclass Jakob Kullberg and Toke Møldrup

7.30 pm-: Coaching Kristoffer Hyldig

Wednesday

8 am-9.30 am: Run team, karate, yoga & swimming

10 am – 4 pm: Masterclass Jakob Kullberg and Toke Møldrup

7.30 pm Concert

Thursday

7.30 pm: Student concert:

To show our support for Ukraine as a victim of Russias meaningless war we are sponsoring access to the course for 1 Ukranian passport holder.

Recording: Please submit 5-10 minutes repertoire in a video recording and upload it in “hidden” mode on YouTube.

Non-refundable deposit of 500 DKK and a registration fee of 1,000.00 DKK to be paid no later than Friday, June 3, 2023 using the following bank info:

Included in the fee: Minimum 4 lessons of 45 minutes, free admission to the concerts of the masterclass, accommodation in both single rooms and shared apartments with shared access to toilet, bath, kitchen and living room. Participants are welcome to arrange common meals in the kitchen at their own expense.

Meals are covered by the participants.
